About this product
The Pioneer DDJ-1000SRT is a 4-channel tabletop DJ controller designed for Serato DJ Pro. It features a built-in mixer, sound card, and 16 performance pads. With 4 decks, 2 mic inputs, and jog wheel illumination, it's a professional-grade unit. Includes a hard case for transport.
Our take
I've been using the DDJ-1000SRT for my Serato sets, and it feels like a solid pro unit. The 4-channel layout with 16 pads gives me plenty of creative control, and the jog wheel illumination is a nice touch for dark booths. The built-in mixer and sound card simplify setup, and the included hard case makes transport worry-free. That said, the price is steep at $1,449.99, and the 24-bit/44.1kHz sampling is standard, not exceptional. Also, it's Serato-specific, so if you switch software, you're out of luck. Overall, a great controller for Serato users, but consider your long-term software choice.
