Our take
Similar to the MU-L31F, the MU-L31A offers a solid entry-level setup. The 4 PAR lights are decent for small venues, and the color mixing is satisfactory. The manual pan and tilt limit automation, but for the price, you get a functional system. DMX control is included, though setup can be a bit fiddly. The stand is adequate. If you're starting out and need a complete package, this works. I'd prefer motorized options, but for $199, it's a fair deal.
